Twilight

I’ve loved the natural world since I was a kid, playing by the creek, eating wild blueberries, chasing fireflies at night; both the beauty and the ferocity; after all we’re an integral part of it. I had my first kiss in the woods, and my first fist fight with a bully.

Nature has been a constant witness to my growth and she is my favorite subject. My images are a way of honoring her for always being a place of refuge when I needed it, and a humbling reminder that we are no more nor less than the continuum of spirit pervading this earth, this universe. Each of these images is meant as a quiet contemplative moment.

I share these hoping they touch something in you that they touched in me.

“When it comes to the creative process, accept that the majority of the work we do is out of our control. We can’t force greatness to happen. All we

can do is invite it in and await it actively. Not anxiously, as this might scare it off. Simply in a state of continual welcoming.”
